Description

Metal machining oil is based on highly refined mineral oil, ionic and non-ionic emulsifiers, corrosion inhibitors and other improvers. Emulgol oil does not contain: nitrites, chlorine, heavy metals and phenols.

It is a cutting oil concentrate, intended for the preparation of emulsions for metal machining and plastic processing. It does not cause the formation of nitrosamines. It is made of highly refined mineral oils. Free from chlorine, secondary amines, boron compounds and sodium nitrite.

Application

Emulgol oil in the form of a cooling and lubricating water emulsion is used in machining of steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals and their alloys. Recommended working concentrations of an emulsion based on Emulgol (prepared with water with a general hardness of up to 15 ° N) depending on the type of processing and the material being processed: - grinding - 3 ÷ 5%, - turning, milling, drilling, reaming - 5 ÷ 10%, - threading - 10 ÷ 15%.

It is a concentrate of cooling and lubricating fluids intended for a number of machining processes (sheet rolling, drawing, other plastic working and machining processes) and a wide range of metals (cast iron, steel, including hard-to-cut steels, as well as non-ferrous metals). The concentration for a given application is selected by trial. Concentrations below 3.5% are generally not recommended. As a rule, a concentration of 4 ÷ 5% is used for most types of processing. Increasing the concentration of the emulsion increases the smoothness of the treated surface and the effectiveness of corrosion protection, and may reduce the friction in plastic working and increase the life of the machining tools. In the pressing process, emulsions with a concentration of 2% are used (a concentration of 2% is sufficient for pressing, for example, for steel roof tiles). Emulsions are prepared by pouring the concentrate in a thin stream into cool or lukewarm water with a general hardness of up to 20 ° n with constant stirring (as a rule, it is enough to pour the concentrate in a thin stream while the water is circulating in the machine; preferably at the inlet of the circulation pump). Do not create concentrated solutions of concentrate - with a concentration of more than 20%. It is possible to make emulsions using injectors.

Check the concentration with a refractometer. The refractive index is approximately 1.05.

Properties

The emulsions are stable and do not precipitate or form a thickened phase, even after a long period of use. In many cases (if the concentration of the emulsion is kept stable and if the circulation system is equipped with filters

accumulation of impurities in the emulsion), a period of more than one year of use without replacement is possible.

It is a cutting oil concentrate, intended for the preparation of emulsions for rolling, other plastic processing and metal machining. It does not cause nitro-changes. It is made of highly refined mineral oils. Free from chlorine, secondary amines, boron compounds and sodium nitrite.

Advantages of using oil:

  • has a positive effect on the smoothness of the treated surface
  • protection of tools against wear
  • removes chips
  • reduces frictional resistance
